The "Baixo Botafogo" part of the Botafogo district of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Rio revolves around the Metro station Botafogo, allowing for easy access. Along Rua Nelson Mandela are dozens of good bars and restaurants which fill up with clients from nearby office buildings for happy hour, especially on Fridays. Best beer can be found on Colarinho which has about twenty beers on tap, including a German wheat beer, which is extremely rare in Rio. (Australfoto/Douglas Engle)
