Ninety-year-old Gilda Santos Vieira de Mello in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gilda remembers her son, UN chief Sergio Vieira de Mello every August. Touted as the next UN Secretary General, the dashing and brilliant man with the gentle manner was chief of the UN mission in Iraq when a truck bomb destroyed the complex Aug. 19, 2003.
