Election workers load electronic voting machines onto trucks for delivery in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina State, Brazil, Sept. 30, 2006. Electronic voting was introduced to Brazil in 1996 and the first tests were carried in the state of Santa Catarina. Since 2000, all Brazilian elections have been fully electronic. Voters use a voting machine as straightforward as a public phone booth and the results are then filed electronically to polling centers. The results are available by the end of election day.
