Sari, visibly weak and suffering from aches and rashes throughout his body, was infected with HIV when he got contaminated blood two years ago at a hospital where his parents took him with a severe case diarrhea.
His case highlights the nature of the disease and the health care system. Lacking many medicines after 12 years of economic sanctions, the health system was left with no option but to give him blood to bring him back.
