Workers in of Caapiranga, which is only accessible by river or air, carry products to canoes for transfer to larger boats in the Brazilian state of Amazonas, Nov. 5, 2010. The low river levels broke the previous drought record which was set only 5 years ago, a frequency which environmental groups say are a direct result of deforestation and global warming. The rivers are so low that the large boats must anchor several kilometers away and ferry people and good in smaller boats.(Australfoto/Douglas Engle)
