A middle class girl, Bruna left home at 17 to become a prostitute and later became famous for her blog in which she told stories of her experiences in the trade. On the success of the blog she released a book in 2005 called "O Doce Veneno do Escorpiao" (The Sweet Poison of the Scorpion) and which now will have an English language version.
